Our blog has moved!

We are extremely pleased to announce that we have moved hosting of our blog to our own website and the links from our website have been updated to reflect the new blog's address.

The new blog is still under construction, but you will find as we work on it that the new blog will offer some great additional features!

We are excited that the new blog will allow us to post from different users. Therefore, you will be able to tell if I'm posting (Erika) or if my assistant posts (Briane). Plus, posts will be catergorized so that you can only look at Maternity sessions if you like....or simply promotions. Make sure to check it out and check back frequently as we get it completed.

Briane is coming back!

Many of you will remember, Briane, my old assistant....she usually goes by Bri....after being gone almost 6 months....she is coming back to take over her old position!!! She will be relocating back from Ohio later this month. We are excited to have her come back.

Also, when you are in the studio next time...you'll have to notice the changes to our bathroom. I've redone it and it looks wonderful!

I'm assistantless again! Hiring once again!

I'm just not having any luck with this assistant thing. Unfortunately, the new assistant that I hired just didn't work out. So, I'm hiring once again!!!

We are seeking a computer savvy, customer service oriented, and creative person who loves to work with children. At this point, the position is part time. We are hoping that whoever we hire would eventually like to have a full-time position as the studio continues to grow. We are looking for someone who is available Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday from 9-12, Thursday 6-8:30 p.m., and Saturday 8:30 - 1. Some Saturday afternoons and Tuesday evenings are possible as well.

This person will attend sessions and assist in changing backdrops, getting props, moving lights, repositioning fans, steaming backdrops, and holding reflectors. There are numerous clerical as well as customer service duties that this position performs as well as mounting, framing, and packaging portrait orders.

No experience is necessary; however, knowledge of Photoshop CS3 is a plus. Starting pay is $10 per hour with a raise plan to get you to $13.25 per hour once fully trained.

One Flat Session Reservation Fee!

No, this isn't a price increase. We are constantly trying to improve our studio offerings to simply and make it more customized for our clients. Therefore, we have changed our session fees to one flat session fee instead of basing it on the number of people attending the sessions. This means that Caterpillar Club members will no longer be assessed a $20 per sibling fee as well! Here is a breakdown of the new session reservation fee as it is posted on our website:

SESSION RESERVATION FEE - $275

THE SESSION RESERVATION FEE INCLUDES A 2 HOUR IN-STUDIO SESSION, $200 IN PRINT CREDIT, UNLIMITED NUMBER OF PEOPLE PHOTOGRAPHED, UNLIMITED POSES, UNLIMITED CLOTHING CHANGES, AND ALL RETOUCHING!

Your Reservation fee reserves the time and talent of the photographer EXCLUSIVELY FOR YOU! All of our sessions are booked BY APPOINTMENT ONLY so you have our UNDIVIDED ATTENTION!

ON-LOCATION UPGRADE - $25
(Caterpillar Club Members will be able to upgrade their in-studio sessions for this fee if they would like to do a session on-location)

He didn't want to go home...

Ayden was having so much fun at his 2nd birthday session that he didn't want to leave! This little guy was was my first session in my studio here in Rock Hill when he was a little baby. I am normally amazed at how much kids grow between sessions since I don't get to see them all the time, but Ayden reminds me of how long the studio has been open everytime he comes in!

We did some fishing expedition shots which he absolutely loved. Even after we put the boat away he was still asking about where it was. He loved playing in it! You can tell from the pictures that he had a great time...they turned out wonderful!
